On the side-lines of ATF 2026 in Cebu City, Philippines, Brunei Darussalam, through the Ministry of Primary Resources and Tourism, and the Kingdom of Cambodia through the Ministry of Tourism, strengthened tourism cooperation through a signing of Memorandum of Understanding.
Representing His Majesty's Government was the Minister of Primary Resources and Tourism. Meanwhile, the Kingdom of Cambodia was represented by His Excellency Mr. Hout Hak, Minister of Tourism, Ministry of Tourism.
The MoU aims to strengthen cooperation through the exchange of best practices and experiences in tourism product development and capacity building, while supporting the promotion of both destinations through joint marketing initiatives. These include, joint familiarisation trips, collaborative promotional campaigns, participation in tourism fairs and events, knowledge-sharing programmes in tourism management and human resource development, as well as cooperation in the Meetings, Incentives, Conferences and Events or MICE sector.
